About us

The Berkshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is part of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (NFYFC). NFYFC was established in 1921 and now heads 600+ Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFC) with around 20,000 individual members across the UK.

We welcome all young people aged between 10 and 28 years with an interest in the countryside, rural life and agriculture. You don’t have to be a farmer to belong to a Young Farmers’ Club!

Young Farmers’ Clubs are where you can meet like-minded people of your own age, from a range of different backgrounds. Opportunities exist for senior members to travel and work abroad and there are some excellent training programmes offered by NFYFC to help you develop various life skills.

There are currently four Young Farmers’ Clubs in Berkshire and all welcome new members at any point in the year. They each run a busy and varied programme of events, activities and competitions throughout the year. Click on the box below to find out more about joining us.
